Two days AFTER Christmas we had an appointment with the orthopedist to take the cast off. Doesn't she look so excited to get that stupid thing off?
And we came home with another cast. The leg is healing well, but needs another few weeks in a cast to stabilize the bone and make sure it is fully healed. They gave us a walking shoe to make it easier to walk and not slide all over the place. She wasn't too happy about being put back in the cast, but she'll live.
