Easter Recap
I know this is way late, but here it is. We had a wonderful Easter. The boys were actually old enough to dye eggs. I think Eric had more fun than the boys since he had to control the whole dying process. We dyed eggs Sunday morning before Church after which Eric hid the plastic eggs in the backyard. The boys actually understood the concept of finding eggs and putting them in their baskets. We didn't have much luck with that last year. It was so fun to watch their little faces light up whenever they found an egg. Andrew was a little speeder trying to find as many eggs as possible in the shortest amount of time. Brandon took his time and savored every single egg he found. We had to keep prompting him along to find more eggs.
We surprised Grandma and Grandpa Jacklin by showing up to their ward to hear them speak Sunday afternoon. They spoke about the Atonement - so appropriate for Easter. It was nice to visit our "home" ward even though there are a lot of new faces we don't recognize. After church we had Easter dinner with the whole Jacklin family - yummy ham, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The boys were able to hunt for more Easter eggs with Grandma and Grandpa. They had so much fun the first time they insisted that Grandpa hide all the eggs a second time. We all got a good laugh watching them run around the yard for the obscure hiding places Grandpa chose.
The week after Easter we were able to celebrate with my side of the family as we were also celebrating my mom's birthday. My mom stocked up a couple of baskets with tons of goodies, sport eggs, and gifts. No Easter basket is complete without Peeps. Andrew loves 'em...Brandon is not a fan. I guess 50% isn't so bad. The boys got to hunt for eggs yet again - they didn't complain a bit. I think my boys will want to be treasure hunters one day.

Who cares if your Easter report is way late! I'm impressed that you blog at all with those crazy boys keeping you busy.
It looks like Easter was sooo fun with them. Ben and I will definitely be looking forward to that with Russel next year!
They are so cute! Hopefully I can see you on saturday at the womans conference thingy!
