A month after Ella was born, Eric's paternal grandmother lost her battle with cancer. While we were and are saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing we belong to an eternal family and will be reunited with Grandma Jacklin one day.
We were able to rent a house in Salt Lake that would accommodate 8 families between Larry & Coleen and Val & Sherri's kids. It was AWESOME! Somehow I didn't take any pictures of it, but it was so big that it was easy to get lost in it. It was a wonderful opportunity for all the 2nd cousins (the little kiddies) to spend time with each other.

The kids starting playing ring around the rosie at the mortuary during Grandma's viewing. I almost got up to gently scold Kira when it hit me that Grandma would want the kids to be happy and having a good time rather than sitting around acting all melancholy and morose.
